Scripture

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

— Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Reflection

There are seasons when the future feels unclear.

We wonder what tomorrow will bring.

We question whether circumstances will ever change.

We wonder why certain doors closed.

Why some prayers remain unanswered.

Why God seems quiet when we desperately need direction.

Perhaps you are standing in one of those places today.

A place between what was and what will be.

A place where answers seem distant and certainty feels impossible.

Yet even here, God remains faithful.

The Lord sees the entire picture while we only see one page at a time.

What feels like delay may actually be preparation.

What feels like disappointment may actually be protection.

What feels like uncertainty may be God teaching us to trust Him more deeply.

Faith does not grow when everything is visible.

Faith grows when we continue walking even when we cannot see the next step.

The God who has carried you this far is not about to abandon you now.

Your future is not held together by your understanding.

Your future is held securely in His hands.

Prayer

Father God,

There are days when the future feels uncertain.

We wonder what tomorrow will bring.

We question whether things will ever change.

We struggle to understand why some doors have closed and why certain prayers seem unanswered.

Yet today, Lord, we choose to trust Your heart even when we cannot trace Your hand.

You are the Author of our story.

You see the entire picture while we see only a small part.

What feels like delay to us may be preparation in Your hands.

What feels like disappointment may actually be divine protection.

Help us remember that our lives are not defined by our mistakes, failures, age, circumstances, or past experiences.

Our lives are defined by Your purpose and Your love.

Plant fresh hope inside every woman who feels discouraged.

Renew dreams that have grown weary.

Restore faith where disappointment has settled in.

Help us believe that You are still writing beautiful chapters ahead.

Teach us to walk by faith and not by sight.

Help us trust that every step of obedience is bringing us closer to the future You have prepared.

Today we place our future into Your faithful hands.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
